Wilde Paarde Kloof farm, the home of Farmer Redbeard and his family, is nestled below the Langeberg mountain and is a hidden treasure of wildlife, Cape fynbos, shimmering fruit orchards and vineyards. The farm is a mere 90 minutes from Cape Town between the towns of Robertson and Montagu in the romantic Robertson wine valley. It is surrounded by rolling mountains, vineyards and fruit trees, wine farms, quaint farm stalls and cottages inhabited by traditional and friendly farmers. It is a haven where guests can enjoy the adventures and seasons of traditional South African fruit farming and living, harvesting the fruit, making of one’s own wine, mampoer and preserves, bee keeping and honey making, hiking, cycling, potjie dinners around a fire, mountain biking, quadbiking, 4 by 4 trails, and fun tractor rides into the mountain. This holiday or day outing is fun and ideal for a wholesome family holiday, team building and an end of the year function.
